Sachin should retire??????
Do you think sachin tendulkar should retire??? I was reading today's TOI n on the front page is a comment by Ian chappel ( Yeah!! that's rite, our indian team coach greg's brother ) saying its high time that sachin should retire.. Is it so?? should he retire?? or is everybody just cross with him coz of india's dismal ( well, that's a euphemism!!! ) performance in the 'world cup'.. ?????????? I m confused thinking about all this...

Ya I am certainly looking forward to seeing the back of sachin. and this is from someone who used to idolise him, and prayed each and every time he walked on to the pitch.. Sadly there have been more disappointments from him like the 2003 WC final and more recently, being foxed by some abdur razzak!!! (Ponting n Lara would any day smash him for a six)
Hello friends, there is no point in seeing the back of Sachin..he was not the only 1 playing the WC. the whole team was there.. if he is a team man doesn't means that if team fails he should be kicked out first... he failed ok but so did the rest of the players. 15000 runs in the international cricket is no joke. sustaining for 17 long yrs and still being fit is also something only great people can think ofand only champions can achieve.
one can easily recall how many times he has failed.... just because these numbers are very less. what every1 cant recall is his sucesses because they r numerous. 40 centuries and 70+ half centuries speak for themselves. out of 380 matches he haS FIRED IN 110 matches.. one bigknock in every 4th match... and you say he has not played well.
tell me any 1 in the world with that sort of reputation. records do have a say my dear frnz. because not many people in this earth can boast of havingone.
He propped India in 96 and 03. and when he failed in 99 and 07 u r talking of getting him out knowing that he is the only 1 capable of taking us to the top.
ok if you still really wana see his back, tell me his substitute.
Well that will require a lotof thinking i suppose
i ve seen the any day of Lara. Ponting is ok but he too has a backing. The thing is if ponting fails no 1 is gonna sack him.. he also has a cushion of leading a pack of champions.
But in India WHERE is that cushion for our hero? he failed and India fails. noone stood up to fire.
Lara is a lost cause altogether. Heplayed for himself and has hardly ever won a series for WI. But Sachin has done it time and again.. He is a matchwinner frnz.
Actually gopi is right..There's huge differnce between lara n tendulkar. Lara is perhaps one of the most SELFISH cricketer inspite of being so successful, whereas tendulkar has always played for his country.. Ponting is an ass. He is so rude and arrogant, whereas sachin is a gem of a person and it reflects in his game..
