HEROES ARE FALLING ALL AROUND US......
First it was sachin in the line of fire after India's %*$#%*@ performance ( actually i have no word to describe it ) in the world cup - From zero to hero- and now its the perfectionist Roger federer ( RF ), who lost to a Mr. Canas ( thats right, he was unknown till roger lost to him. also his first name is tough :) ) twice in past month. Though one can say that we shouldn't read too much into that. After all RF is also a mortal ( though many of us might deny that ) and is antitled too loose at times . like every mortal is... But this is threatening to become a consistent affair- what first with Nadal and now Canas- so future might not b as bright for RF. Though many of us might beg to differ on this ( its not their fault, i m also in awe of King Fed )..
What AMAZES me is that this issue of RF loosing to Canas becomes a bit touchy inspite of that fact that he is not an Indian ( Yeah!!! He belongs to the land of chocolates, switzerland ) !!! This is perhaps coz of the fact that RF is one of that most amazing human being not only in tennis but in all of the sports n none would want to c him loosing ( except to an Indian, though it is too distant a dream to even dream of ;) ) . I ll substantiate it by using the example of the world champions of Cricket, Australia.. Even though Australians are one of the best cricket teams ever ( Whether u accept it or not n it has nothing to do with me being a bigot!!! ) , people all over the world, except the australians of course, would love to c them loosing. This is coz they arrogant n bashful unlike the West Indian team of 70's n 80's which everyone loved n wanted to c it winning every game...... Its weirdoes who r ruling right now..

I agree with Dhruv about RF and Sachin being mortals and all that. but I cannot digest his AMAZEMENT at RF issue being touchy inspite of him not being an "Indian".. I guess what he is trying to convey is that v r 2 much emotional about INDIA losing/winning. Obviously, a 1 billion strong country not producing quality in any sport is bound to invoke some fury, think about it ...
